The Birthplace of Dan Kolov

Today the road took me to the village of Sennik — a small, quiet place nestled at the foot of the Balkan Mountains.

I walked down a quiet street until I reached the childhood home of the legendary Bulgarian wrestler Dan Kolov.

I stepped into his house-museum and saw photographs and personal belongings that tell the story of his life.

Then I made my way to the church where he is buried.

A man who set out from a small Bulgarian village and reached the whole world.
