Legal stuff, in plain words

Privacy

Exploring With Ivo is a personal travel blog. We don't want your data — we want you to look at mountain photos. Here's, honestly and briefly, what happens technically while you browse.

What we store on your device

  • Theme preference (dark/light) — kept only in your browser (localStorage), never sent anywhere.
  • Your cookie banner choice — also only in your browser.

The site has no sign-ups, no personal data forms and builds no visitor profiles.

Third-party services the site uses

  • Cloudflare — hosting and protection; processes IP addresses at a technical level, like any host.
  • Google Fonts — the fonts load from Google's servers.
  • OpenStreetMap / CARTO — the interactive map tiles load from their servers only when you open the Map view.
  • YouTube — videos are embedded in enhanced-privacy mode (youtube-nocookie) and load only when you press Play.

Ads (Google AdSense)

We plan to show ads via Google AdSense. Once enabled, Google may use cookies to show more relevant ads — but only with your explicit consent given through the banner. If you decline, you'll see non-personalised ads or none at all. More: Google's advertising policy.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct and delete personal data. Since the site doesn't actually store any on a server, clearing the site data in your browser settings is usually enough. Any questions: reach us via Contact.

The short version: enjoy the photos — nobody is tracking you from this page.
