It sits near the village of Pepelina, in the Dve Mogili municipality of the Ruse region.
It’s the second longest cave in Bulgaria (over 13 km).
The temperature here stays constant — 14°C all year round.
And in one of its chambers, the Concert Hall, the acoustics are so pure that music echoes like a prayer.
It was discovered in 1941 by a shepherd, and today about 3 km of it are lit and open to visitors.
The cave impressed me with its beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, and unique formations.
