The moment I arrived in Mtskheta, I felt genuine wonder - as if time stood still and I stepped into a legend. This ancient city breathes history and spirituality in every stone step and every street.
They call it ‘the Second Jerusalem’ - and the place fully lives up to the name.
When we climbed up to the Jvari Monastery perched above the town, the view literally took my breath away. The rivers merged in the distance, and the rooftops of the old houses glowed in the soft sunlight.
Mtskheta is a unique place - quiet, ancient, and leaving a mark that doesn’t fade.
