During our visit to Gori, we decided to explore the Joseph Stalin house museum — the place where he was born in 1878. Right from the entrance, you’re struck by the contrast between the small, modest house and the monumental museum building erected around it later on.
The exhibition traces his life — from his childhood years in Gori to his rise to the top of the Soviet Union. Inside you can see personal belongings, documents, photographs, and gifts. The atmosphere is peculiar — you can feel the historical weight of the era.
