Lukovit and the Iskar-Panega Geopark

It lies about 112 km from Sofia.

And the area is packed with things to see!

Caves, rock formations, canyons and much more.

The Iskar-Panega Geopark, the National Cave House, Prohodna Cave, the Provartenika rock phenomenon.

We spent a whole day here, wandering through the magical caves and getting to know the area.

Of course we didn’t manage to see everything. And yes, we’ll be back.
