Dobrich

Dobrich is a small town 40 km from Varna.

The first place I visited was the open-air museum, the Old Dobrich Ethnographic Complex. An incredible place.

Then I popped over to the Yordan Yovkov museum to get a stamp in my little booklet (the 100 National Tourist Sites of Bulgaria).

I also made sure to see the largest monument of the Bulgarian ruler Khan Asparuh.

I left convinced that this is a town with a rich historical heritage.
