St. Anastasia Island

After a long absence from my hometown, I finally felt the sea breeze again and set off for a magical patch of land in the Black Sea - St. Anastasia.

Just about half an hour by boat from the Port of Burgas, and the little island slowly comes into view - once called Bolshevik, today a true gem off the coast.

The moment you arrive, the romantic lighthouse greets you like a keeper of all the sea’s stories. The church bell mingles with the sound of the waves, and the aroma from the fish restaurant tempts you to savor the moment.
