And who is Bastet?

The goddess Bastet was worshipped in ancient Egypt and is associated with cats, as she was often depicted with the head of a cat. She is a symbol of protection and the comfort of home. Egypt has many temples dedicated to Bastet, the most famous of which stands in the city of Bubastis.

The Bastet cave in Strandzha is known mostly among locals — a mystical place wrapped in legends.
