Located near Osikovo, north of Devin. The moment we pulled over by the shore, we were captivated by the scale of the place and the crisp mountain air.
Vacha Reservoir is famous for having the tallest dam wall in Bulgaria – a full 144.5 meters. The water stretches for about 18 kilometers, creating a feeling of openness and freedom. The views along the road beside the reservoir are stunning.
It’s one of those places you come to for a short while and leave already wanting to come back.
