The moment we reached the city center, our eyes were drawn to the countless fountains.

I felt as if I had never seen so many fountains, in so many shapes and styles, in my life.

Pleven is famous for its historical landmarks.

The monuments commemorating the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation alone number more than 200.

We made sure not to miss the Mausoleum-Ossuary either.

It was honestly hard to see all the sights in a single day.
