The Uvac Canyon

Our trip to the Uvac Nature Reserve began as an ordinary outing but quickly turned into a real adventure.

The road wound between hills and forests, and with every passing minute we could feel the noise of the city falling further and further behind us.

When we reached the canyon of the Uvac River, the view quite literally left us speechless.

Massive limestone cliffs rose above the water, and the river curved in smooth, almost perfect meanders. This place can’t fully be described — it has to be seen.

The boat ride felt like a journey into another world.
