Thun Castle dates back to the 12th century and sits on a hill above the old town. It offers a sweeping view of the Alps. The 14th-century town church has an octagonal tower.

It’s among the ten largest lakes in Switzerland. Its water is crystal clear and full of fish.
I adore this Switzerland — it stirs up a whole flood of emotions in me.
